Definition: The archaeological site of Pu'u Ali'i is located on the Kona coast of the island of Hawaii. Excavated by Kenneth Emory of the Bishop Museum, Yosihiko Sinoto and William Bonk, the site allowed researchers to explore the migration of Polynesians and their settlement of the islands in prehistory.
