David Pilbeam [b. 1940]

Definition: David Pilbeam is an American paleontologist currently at Harvard University, who has investigated very early human ancestors such as Proconsul in Kenya, Sivapithecus in the Potwar Plateau of Pakistan, and a newly identified hominid from Chad, Sahelanthropus tchadensis.
