John Bryan Ward Perkins [1912-1981]

Definition: British archaeologist John Bryan Ward Perkins spent nearly twenty five years excavating in the Etruria region of Italy and North Africa. He was Director of the British School in Rome, and was one of the founders of the Association for Classical Archaeology.
